Erik Oswald (Professional Masters)
Erik Oswald is a Graduate Career Consultant for the Professional Master Programs. A student-centered advisor and mentor, Erik has a strong background in career development. He graduated from Notre Dame with studies in Environmental Science and Anthropology, and he holds a master’s degree in college student affairs leadership from Grand Valley State University where he also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Counseling and Career Development Center. Before joining Notre Dame, he worked with the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) where he provided career advising to students and alumni, designed and delivered professional development workshops and lectures on career preparation, and implemented employer networking strategies for the school. Upon arriving to ND in 2015, Erik worked with the College of Arts and Letters graduate students for nearly three years before beginning his role with the Professional Master Programs. Erik is the past president of the Wisconsin Private Colleges Career Consortium, and a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and Graduate Career Consortium (GCC).

In-Person and Virtual Schedule
The Graduate Career Services team will be on different in-person and virtual schedules during the 20-21 school year for appointments to minimize the amount of staff in our office on any given day due to the current health situation. Virtual appointments will also be available on days staff are in the office. You can schedule appointments and view Erik's availability through our career management system "Handshake". Feel free to email him directly if you have any questions or are having any challenges with finding times in the system. If you choose to meet in-person, please make sure to view the new Graduate Career Services appointment protocol for in-person appointments.
