Employer Policies and Practices
Graduate Career Services (GCS) along with our career and professional development partners at the University of Notre Dame, seeks to maximize employer and internship opportunities for students by offering a range of services to facilitate recruitment of prospective candidates, including but not limited to, job/internship postings, on-campus recruiting, career fairs, information sessions, and resume books. GCS requires that any recruiting organization or individual utilizing these services abide by all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws, University of Notre Dame rules and regulations, and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Employment Professionals.
The University of Notre Dame expects that employers will abide by its stated policies and ethical standards. Candidates should not be discriminated against by ethnicity, gender, marital status, age, creed, sexual orientation, disability, or any other non-job-related factor. Notre Dame’s Go IRISH

, is the web-based portal for publicizing all full-time and internship positions and other recruiting activities for academic institutions, businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. All recruiting organizations are expected to accurately describe their organization, positions, and position requirements when posting their information on Go IRISH or when representing their firm and opportunities at campus recruiting events.
By acting in accordance with these policies and guidelines, individuals and organizations can help Graduate Career Services maintain a professional, equitable and successful recruiting environment for all parties concerned.
